Concept Sketching
After receiving a detailed brief from the client, our design team begins by sketching a variety of concepts and possible structures for the card. This early stage focuses on exploring different visual directions, layouts, and feature placements to understand how the card will look and function in real use. Both hand-drawn sketches and digital drafts may be created to quickly test ideas and compare different approaches.
At this point, special attention is given to how each concept will work as a smart, interactive identity card, ensuring that elements such as QR codes, chips, barcodes, photos, text fields, and branding can be arranged in a clear and practical way. This process helps us identify the most effective design structure before moving into detailed digital design, making sure the final card will be both visually appealing and fully functional.
Design Development
During the design phase, multiple creative concepts are carefully developed, explored, and refined to achieve the best possible visual outcome. Different layout styles, color combinations, typography choices, and card arrangements are tested to ensure the design aligns perfectly with the brand identity and the purpose of the card.
From these explorations, the strongest ideas are selected and gradually narrowed down to the top five design options that best meet the project requirements. Each of these concepts is reviewed internally to ensure quality, clarity, and consistency before being presented to the client. The selected designs are then shared with the client for feedback, discussion, and final approval, allowing any necessary adjustments to be made before moving to the next stage of production.
Material Selection
Once a design concept is approved, the next step is selecting the most suitable card material to match the intended use and desired finish. This stage is important because the choice of material directly affects the card’s durability, appearance, flexibility, and overall premium feel. Options may include different types of PVC, laminated cards, composite materials, or other specialized finishes depending on the project requirements.
During this process, careful consideration is given to how the card will be used — whether for everyday identification, access control, membership, or official documentation — to ensure the material can withstand regular handling while maintaining a clean and professional look. The goal is to achieve the perfect balance between strength, functionality, and visual quality, so the final product not only looks impressive but also performs reliably over time.
Final Presentation & Production
The final design is prepared in its complete and polished form, including print-ready files, color-accurate layouts, and physical card samples where required to ensure the highest production quality. Every detail — from typography and spacing to material finish and color consistency — is carefully reviewed to meet professional standards.
Once the client reviews and confirms the final output, the design is approved for full production. At this stage, the cards move into the manufacturing process, where they are produced using the selected materials, finishes, and printing techniques. After production is completed, the cards go through a final quality check, then they are securely packaged and prepared for delivery to the client within the agreed timeline.
